We’re recruiting the sharpest minds from underserved populations in South Africa through our learnership program and mould them into excellent software engineers who are well suited to helping companies solve their most tenacious recruiting and development challenges.

Bringing an end to Period Poverty through menstrual education and access to sanitary products. Period Poverty refers to the lack of access to sanitary products and hygiene facilities to manage menstruation. This remains a prevalent issue in South Africa. This can set girls behind their male peers.

Bursary Programme

The Maringa Foundation through its Undergraduate Bursary Programme in partnership with various South African Universities seeks to identify deserving previously disadvantaged candidates who have demonstrated talent and determination in their previous academic lives. The Foundation nurtures and empowers participants to achieve their academic potential, and go on to a meaningful career that will have a lasting impact on their careers, communities and the country.

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.
– Nelson Mandela

I started running my business on a part-time basis while I was still employed fulltime, I used to sell hardware and offer IT services to SOHO (Small offices and Home Offices). We did not have any retainer contracts with them, it was only on request when they need our services. My Outcome-creating stance was when bitten by the entrepreneurship bug and decided to resign from my employment and start working on my vision of turning on Africa`s technology and launch Tendai ICT.

My mission was to take ICT technology to our under privileged people of Africa (technology trends shaping the lives of Africans) and create employment. This was motivated by my previous disadvantaged experience, I grew up in Limpopo (Giyani, Venda and Malamulele) and I was never exposed to technology and the first time I touched a mouse and sit in front of the computer was after my high school years, in my tertiary first year after enrolling to study IT.
I knew nothing about computers but, as I learned more, I fell in love with them.

Tendai ICT is empowered by RMA- Rand Mutual Assurance and Black Umbrellas – A partner entity of President Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation.
